2002: A Powerful Idea and Proving Everyone Wrong
From Dorm Room to Heavyweight: The Birth of tyntec
While studying computer science at Technical University Dortmund, it occurred to Thorsten Trapp to turn SMS texting into a tool for business. He packed a PC into his car, drove to the Isle of Man—the only European jurisdiction allowing for this use at the time—and built the technology that led to the foundation of tyntec. The company was profitable after just 6 months. An early industry heavyweight was born.
2010: Make Telco Accessible for Everyone
